Synopsis:
DOUBLE CROSS ON ASTURIAS
RC-T288 was a sergeant that was part of a clone commando squad assigned to protect Lorca Oviedo to a conference on Aviles Prime during the height of the Clone Wars.
Oviedo's plan from the start was to expose troop strengths and deployment to Wat Tambor and the Confederacy of Independent Systems by being allowed to produce weaponry for the Grand Army of the Republic. When Oviedo tried to fake an attack by Separatist forces, T288 and his squad became expendable and were shot down.
T288 and a few of his squadmates survived the crash-landing on a moon called Asturias. They managed to reach Oviedo just as he was finalizing his plans with Tambor, and they took Oviedo prisoner. With his squad steadily decimated as they tried to reach their only remaining transport, T288 as the sole survivor took Oviedo to Coruscant.
Later, he reported the outcome of his mission to Jedi Master Yoda and Mace Windu.
